Believe in yourself and you become irresistible!
There is something very attractive about someone who knows what they’re doing.
Someone who knows where they’re going, and what they want.
“Life is wonderful!”
I had a friend whose catch-phrase was “Life is wonderful!”
You may think he was one of those annoyingly jolly people who had no idea how others suffer.
Not so. He was a Jew. In Austria. In 1938.
What terrifies you?
I don’t mean ghosts and things that go bump in the night.
I don’t even mean car crashes, freak weather, or the internet going down ;-)
I mean - what is something you really would like to do and you just can’t get yourself into motion with it?
The Universe will carry you
Most of us are brought up to think that you drift from day to day, following the rough path you mapped out for yourself once, maybe a long time ago. And you hope that one day you may attain what you want.
Satisfaction is worth $$$ and £££
You started out because you wanted to spend all day frolicking in the sunshine with dogs! Training them; grooming them; massaging them …
Balancing books, paying bills, employing people - perhaps none of these were on your list of fun things to do!
Shame? Whose?
I can remember it now.
The shame.
I had asked a question and I was trampled.
I was about 7 or 8. I’d spilt something in art class. The teacher tossed me a cloth and told me to clear it up.
Time to take over the reins of your life!
Who’s running your show?
Really.
Is it you?
Or is it your job, your family, the television schedules, your bank balance?
Others may want to keep you where you are …
Are you all set to get moving, on that new life you’ve dreamed of?
Trouble is, you mention your plans to friends and family and they universally say, “Oh no! That won’t work.”
Goals? or Resolutions?
We’ve had a trial of a year! And you may be forgiven for thinking that you are helpless.
But you are NOT.
There’s only one person running your life, and that’s you!
Trust is earned
Trust is not something we have a right to. We have to earn it!
Constant repetition of being reliable, there when needed, that will earn you trust.
“That ruined my day!”
How often have you heard someone say this?
And how often have you said it yourself? Be honest! It’s a common enough thing for people to say.
It’s never too late!
It can be hard sometimes to believe that there’s a way out.
You may have been stuck for so long in your circumstance that you think that’s where you’ll stay for ever.
So who is this Tabitha?
Tabitha is the protagonist in my novel Keeping Tabs . She’s the heroine, the star!
And she’s all of us.
“It’s so hard”
Have you ever found yourself saying this?
Or perhaps it’s “I’m so worried about this ..” or just plain “Why me?”
We all have times in our lives when we may feel everything’s become too much.
Each moment describes who you are …
.. and each moment gives you the opportunity to decide if that’s who you want to be.
Are you feeling you’ve missed the boat? That somehow everyone else is trucking along on their mission, but you’re left wondering what your mission even is?
The winds will blow!
The winds will blow!
If we try to resist that change and stay as we are, it will be like trying to stand still in a gale force wind.
What would you like to have achieved in your life?
We are busybusybusy all day long. Sometimes we have lots of things to get through. Sometimes we don’t so we invent things and get busy with those…
